Berry Champagne Cocktail
Make a simple sugar syrup by heating half a cup of white sugar with half a cup of water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and chill. When completely cooled, stir through 1/3 cup of fresh blackcurrants or blueberries and place a tablespoon of syrup into each glass. Fill with Champagne or sparkling wine and enjoy.
